The Abode Office - A Childhood Dream

As a child, Graham Isaac the founder of Abode Drafting would walk past the old butcher shop in Picton built in 1894, mesmerized by the history and intricate details, thinking to himself "I'll buy this building one day".

30 years later as Graham was driving past he noticed a real estate agent putting a "For Sale" sign up out the front. Graham rushed home to call the real estate to make an offer and soon after the building was his.

Unfortunately the hard part was still to come as the building had been extensively damaged by termites. Graham carefully dismantled the entire building piece by piece, repairing and restoring everything he could and replacing the rest.

The result is the building we are left with today, a beautiful piece of history restored impeccably, a true display of Graham's attention to detail and love of Architecture.

We are proud to have this building as the Abode Drafting office where we host our clients for design meetings to feed our passion for creating wonderful buildings and spaces for our clients.
